Biden administration unveils hydrogen tax credit plan to jump-start industry (npr.org)

I honestly can't imagine what the point is. Hydrogen just isn't a very good idea. The only people pushing it are fossil fuel producers, trying to hang on to a way of staying relevant ("blue hydrogen" made from fossil fuels.

And yet TFA says the American Petroleum Institute is grumpy, because they want the program to give them more money. So who exactly is this making happy?

I guess money spent on research is never truly wasted. We can hope something unexpected appears; it happens all the time.
