Stuff like this and has actively kept me from buying a Switch. I have absolutely zero guarantee that core features of the platform will remain functional.
Unless they do something silly again, like creating a whole other online account system for the switch's successor. Far less likely this time though, since they have unified accounts and actually charge people to use it.
