Maybe it was a combination of merger and murder. It was an acquisition then a rebrand anyway, not a merger.

The rebranding is one of the most stupid things I've seen business-wise during my adult life.

I still go to twitter dot com. And I call them tweets, and everyone does that.

I do personally enjoy saying "X formerly known as Twitter" though.
