lmao merry Christmas
Isn't this more of an olive branch from Elon. Maybe he can do a good thing, even if he can't get to the level of admitting it.

I'm kidding no one, for sure.

Anything to get ad revenue for "news" articles
> Musk said, “we are taking immediate action to shift Grok closer to politically neutral.”

What even is "politically neutral" in a global context? Is this one of those irregular conjugations?

I am one of the real ${DEMONYM}s.
    You are politically neutral.
    He/she is a wingnut.
The idea of the overton window shifting makes a static neutrality highly suspect
Reality has a well-known liberal bias.
The bias is really towards recency, because LLMs are mostly trained on text scraped from the internet.

If you incorporated older content, the bias would be much less liberal. It'd be interesting to train one on only pre-1950 content.

So all those WPA documents and inter war pan socialist unity texts, and the Fabians like Sydney and Beartrice Webb...
But reality isn't biased towards the radical ideas of its time. Overton Window and all..
One of my least favourite quotes!

Reality has no political opinion and there is no ground-truth about if left or right is 'real'.

I'm left-leaning, but hate the quote just because it dismisses conservatism (which is a legitimately held opinion which is just as valid as liberalism).

> no ground-truth about if left or right is 'real'.

The quote about reality having a liberal bias is a joke about how republicans lie a lot and then claim that the courts or the news (or everything, really) has a “bias” against them.

Here is an example for you. Title mentions “brazen corruption” and reading the article they are complaining about… the FBI raiding mar-a-lago to retrieve stolen nuclear documents. Link: https://www.foxnews.com/media/sean-hannity-seeing-brazen-lev...

That's true, I bet the author never could have sabotaged California's high speed rail program with a stupid idea they knew wouldn't work while also wasting a bunch of people's time and money proving that it, in fact, doesn't work.
Huh? Say more. But make it relevant.
>A prominent anti-vaccine influencer complained that when he asked Grok why vaccines cause autism, the chatbot responded, “Vaccines do not cause autism,” calling it “a myth that has been debunked by numerous scientific studies.”

"Elon, this AI of yours isn't protecting my worldview!"

> “I’ve been using Grok as well as ChatGPT a lot as research assistants,”

Excuse me, what.

Elon doesn't especially care, as it's simply another grifting scheme to bail out lower levels of his pyramid.
