[–] wooptoo 2y ago ↗ Happy paying customer here. A good bookmark manager is an invaluable tool; I use it in conjunction with my personal wiki as a KB tool. [–] quinncom 2y ago ↗ Does Raindrop work offline yet? Can you read a previously-downloaded article, add highlights and annotations, then file it away – without Internet? [–] friendofafriend 2y ago ↗ Doesn't appear to work offline yet, but their Pro plan has something called a Permanent Copy [1] which sounds like an archived version of a website.(Just started using it again and asked the same question)[1] https://help.raindrop.io/permanent-copy [–] wooptoo 2y ago ↗ No, I don't think that's possible.

[–] gardenfelder 2y ago ↗ Looks to also be OSShttps://github.com/raindropio [–] dan-g 2y ago ↗ Sadly it looks like only the clients, and not the server, are open source. I’m a happy paying customer but would love a self-hosting option! [–] burgerrito 2y ago ↗ Perhaps it's possible to create open source implementation of the server side? I remember someone did something similar with Obsidian Sync

[–] luckman212 2y ago ↗ Tangentially related: I'm in search of a lightweight self-hosted URL shortener. Tried shlink[0] but man it's a bit of a bear, requiring 5 (yes, five) separate Docker containers. Also tried kutt[1] but it appears to be abandoned.[0] https://github.com/shlinkio/shlink[1] https://github.com/thedevs-network/kutt [–] djangelic 2y ago ↗ This is what I use and like:https://yourls.org [–] luckman212 2y ago ↗ Update: I've settled on Lynx[0] for now. It's still actively being developed, deploys pretty easily with docker compose, and is lightweight.[0] https://github.com/Lynx-Shortener/Lynx
