Reddit made some major missteps and Twitter/X started to crumble. I think we'll look back and point at this year as the beginning of the end for the current social media platforms.

Some people are flagging negative Twitter stories for various reasons, so they didn't stick on front page for a long time, even if some other people consider them important (significant amount of flags affects ranking before story becomes [flagged]).
