According to Modvion, the Swedish start-up that has just built the world's tallest wooden turbine tower, using wood for wind power is the future.
Cutting more trees for a green and “environment friendly” energy? And it’s not like wooden houses are any better than concrete/stones ones, I would love to see what termites will do to one in few years, or even pileated woodpeckers, they do a very deep and big holes in trees.
Wood buildings bind co2, concrete production releases… a lot.
I have yet to see an example of progressive environmentalism solving a single problem for humanity in a sustainable manner. Houses made of mud and recycled bottles and 100 watt generators running of the nearby stream are not scalable.
