What is this? Looks like warmed-over generic advice, the same “diet and exercise” advice which has been field-tested by the general public for decades and found to be ineffective. Oh, I forgot about the personal anecdotes.

If this inspires or helps someone, great. But I don’t see anything new here.

I guess the creative speculation about fatness being an evolutionary advantage over neanderthals is new to me. I do not find it at all compelling though and I'm as confused as you about why this is being upvoted
Yes, it is the exact same 'diet and exercise' advice that anybody serious understands is the closest to absolute truth that they'll ever see in nutrition.
I didn’t say it was untrue. I said it was ineffective as advice for the general public. We might blame the public for not being compliant or disciplined, but that’s pointless. This advice is suitable for a different reality than the one we live in, populated by imperfect people.
This is a great article, very funny. I appreciate the points about becoming much more efficient as you get older, and how important exercise is, because it allows you to eat normally while still losing weight, defeating your metabolism.
One thing that is incorrect in this article…

No, do not brush your teeth right after eating as it will wear away at your enamel:

Although anecdotally having my teeth clean does make me stop eating like the article says as I find it annoying to floss and brush (but do it anyways).

2019? Pretty sure this website is from 2003. I was looking for the CSS1 compliance badge.
