This is a nice thought, I hope it helps people. Other QOTD services exist for free, so I'm not sure I see the value in the paid subscription. Can you explain that to me?
messages are handwritten, and sent as a text : reinforcing the sense of proximity :)
Ah, thank you, that explains it. It's not that you're sharing "quotes" then; I would suggest that you advertise it as "hand-written messages".

Nice idea, though $5 per month seems very steep. Perhaps if it were more personalized, e.g. some sort of AI-based learning algorithm which analyzes user's reactions to quotes and tweaking the topic and content of future messages. Or maybe some additional features, like the ability for the user to submit their own quotes (since this is happening in a messenger anyway), and sending those quotes in future. I come across some nice quotes every once in a while, and don't really save them. If your app would remember them, and show me in future, it may lead to interesting thoughts like "hey, I remember how I felt this is profound, but now I know it was more than that / it was bullshit / etc."
