What name would you rather prefer? The name is for my app that I launched but I have received feedback from people to lose the 3 as it comes off unprofessional. What do you think?

I'd keep it. It's no more unprofessional than Flickr skipping the 'e' or Yahoo! insisting on the exclamation mark. Even facebook started as 'thefacebook.com'. It's the little extra unique-ness that users will remember longer.

That is what I was thinking but people have pointed out that if your business is centered on money management it is less likely to be taken seriously

Who is your target market? If you intend to manage money or taxes, drop the "3"

the app does have some focus on money. Does the 3 really have that big of an impact?

It would be a great game title. And that's the problem -- it's apparently not a game.

Comparing it to Flickr et al isn't doing it justice unless there is a fun "sharing" component to the app. The 3 makes it fun and not serious.
