Pretty cool. I use Javascript procedures in Snowflake to make SQL views all the time. The downside is mixing languages can make reading the code very confusing. The upside is my job is secure because the analytics team can't decipher SQL and Javascript at the same time and must rely on me to make updates for them.

What makes it different than the custom procedure function in Postgres, such as pl-v8, pl-rust, pl-java and pl-python?
