Show HN: SwiftBar 2.0 Powerful macOS menu bar customization tool (github.com)

New release of my opensource project to help you build menu bar apps.

This release features a lot of new features, but I want to highlight two:

- Shortcuts Plugin - allows you to create menu bar apps from Shortcuts app - Ephemeral Plugin - allows you to create a transient menu bar app, i.e. for notification

What's the difference (or pro/cons) between swiftbar and bitbar?

1. SwiftBar has more plugin types, i.e. quite a bit more flexible and covers more usecases

2. SwiftBar is more actively maintained

3. SwiftBar has a bunch of minor\quality of life features, such as Notifications suppport, integration with Shortcuts, extensive URL-scheme, support for custom Plugin Repositories(useful in a company setting).

4. The only major feature that SwiftBar lacks, comparing to bitbar\xbar is built-in parametrization support

I installed it, and upon adding the weather plugin, it stopped, and the icon disappeared from the bar.

I have raised a bug with more details #400
