Ask HN: Anyone know much about adult entertainment generative systems

I think the adult entertainment sector of generative AI will be tremendously profitable.

I spent some time today going to different sites.

I got the distinct impression that all the site I visited are connected to the same backend servers. I can't prove it, but they all had just about the same options, and about similar outputs¹.

I figure different companies create their own basic UI and subscribe to the same backend service provider. Anyone know if that is accurate?

They may all be operating some model system backend on their own servers instead.

Does anyone know what systems are being used out ther for this adult segment?

They all seem to charge the same subscription fees for premiumaccess. Around $/€ 20 or so. (Which is what OpenAI charges for GPT4 I believe)

From what I have gleamed the big "for the public" companies will not allow regular users to create any nude or explicit content.² Would any of the bigger companies have B2B opportunities for generating explicit content?

What would bust the bubble before it really gets going is if the tools to create your own content at home (or via cheap renting GPUs in the sky)

Would the training and setup of the core model be a giant undertaking? In so far as someone release one for free.
