Have you ever been to a concert in the USA before? Unless you are going to something country in the deep south, there isn't much patriotism to be seen. We didn't invent wolf warriors.

Before Xi Jinping took control of the country, China was clearly heading away from this kind of thing. And then...complete 180 let's go back to studying Mao thought. It is quite sad, I wonder if the next generation of leaders (if/when they are allowed to assume control) will finally throw off the shackles of Mao and the cultural revolution.

If WWIII does come, no one will be able to say there weren't warning signs.

Yet there seems to be no plan to avoid it.

There's nothing more patriotic than mutual interests between people and the government. This requires some level of Meritocracy and I hope someday the Political Will in China decides to take this route instead.
