This is Peter Zeihan, a sort of global prognosticator and someone who tends to make fairly dramatic predictions about the world (China will disappear in 10 years... because of demographics|finance|despotism) but I found this talk interesting for the breadth of the geopolitical scope and the nuts and bolts of the global economy and manufacturing, as well as historical perspectives. At a minimum I found it entertaining, even if reality is likely to be a bit less explosive.
