I got laid off at Amazon, it sucked
But then I remembered by reality at work and realized this is an opportunity. Something that starts off a curse, can be a blessing in disguise.
As we all know, pursuing our dreams can be a daunting task, but for some, it's the only option. I chose to pursue my dream of becoming a founder, instead of getting another job after being laid off from Amazon. I invested everything I had into my startup, Creatr by Aeone, to make my dream a reality. I even taught myself to design the entire platform.
As a content creator, I realized how limited the tools available were for the creator economy. That's why I decided to build an affordable all-in-one solution that helps content creators and talent managers connect with brands and monetize their audience, anywhere in the world. Creatr by Aeone offers a variety of features, including creating a custom media kit, link-in-bio, custom store, courses, generating invoices, content calendar, and more - all in one place.
My vision is to help 100 million creators turn their passion into a full-time career by 2030. Investors don’t believe in my vision yet. But despite facing funding challenges and not having a salary for the past 8 months, I’m all in and believe that what I’m building will help creators worldwide.
We already built our MVP in 3 months and super grateful that I found the light out of the tunnel.
That's the American Dream.
Anyone gone through a similar situation? What did you do?
