Ask HN: Attention is the reason why every search engine suck now?

Google and Microsoft put more ML into their search engine but extended the level of incompetent.

I guess the reason is that attention which leveraged by LLM, by design is to ignore stuff. So if you incorporate that into a search engine, it ignore everything keyword you input and return bullshit.
