Ask HN: What posters do you have on your walls?

I'm looking for some cool posters. How are my fellow geeks decorating their walls?

Currently considering NASA prints (perhaps hubble deep field) or something from the Kurzgesagt store.

I have art and photos. 'Posters' are often adverts, which seem weird to display in your home. Also i would not support that particular business, you can look up why and decide for yourself.
Right now a lot less than usual as I'm living in an apartment for the time being. So far, "Come to Yugoslavia" [0], "Belgrade, Serbia" [1], and a masonic patent [2]. I've got a traditional belt and a little mystic eyeball embroidery motif as well! Ah, in a little while I'll have some more space to put my art up again.

Thank you, the country posters are quite nice.

Stupidest thing I've read all day, and condescending to boot.

I'd argue posters are appropriate at any age. I, myself, have several galaxies as well as 'The Kramer'.

Also photographs in a nice frame are just posters with borders.

“I sense great vulnerability. A man-child crying out for love. An innocent orphan in the post-modern world.”
I feel like you're being sarcastic here but I can't see the /s
I started painting acrylic on canvas in 2023. Some of them are on the walls while I decide if they are finished or still inprogress.

I bought a photo-printer in 2018. So there are also prints of pictures I made. And some art from people I know, and from flea markets/garage sales/thrift stores.

Which says something about how I want to see myself and how I want other people to see me.

But it is also practical because blank walls say something too.

Good luck.

A combination of cycling and beer posters, all from limited runs and framed… I also have some of my photography on canvases and a photo of Liam Gallagher smoking a cigarette on a plane.
My office has 9 paintings that I have done, one painting done by each of my kids, 7 landscape photos that I took, 3 of my favorite sketches, 4 embroidered butterflies made by my wife, one embroidery of a dumpster fire labelled '2020', a mechanical clock made by my youngest child, a small quilt that says 'I love you', a hummingbird christmas ornament, a printout of how to tell temperature by looking at how puffy sparrows are, and an inflatable 2 foot tall sriracha bottle.
