Ask HN: AI books worth buying in print?

1 points by lambdaba ↗ HN
Hello HN,

So, I gave up on my Kindle a while ago. Now I want to get back to reading, but I want to try print.

I want timeless, but also useful knowledge from books, with AI / language models / intelligence as my main interests. Preferably nothing too deep into technical details, this is for reading at night as I prepare to sleep.

I would recommend reading Life 3.0 by Max Tegmark. Good book covering less technical, more philosophical and a bit sci-fi topics.

There are parts in the book where it gets a little technical but you can skip them if you want.

Thank you this is in line with what I was looking for!
