so basically they did keto for 2 weeks -- just enough to really get into ketosis -- and then gave them oreos at 100/g per day (which isn't really much if you're already down to < 50g/day carbs.

keto + oreos had a better impact at lowering cholesterol than statins.

wonder why they didn’t try this without keto.

so far all that can be said is having carbs after keto lowers ldl. unless there is some patented proprietary cookie blend in oreos that does not exist elsewhere.

sadly it seems science is just clickbait nonsense these days. may as well just read the bible for truth and facts at that point.

That's a misleading summary. Only true for a short term trial of a few, abnormal people in abnormal dietary circumstances
