I always thought it would be around 86 but now I have no idea.

I mean, both WW3 and AGI are breathing down our necks. We're gazing into an abyss where we all might have a few years left -- or forever. It's a crazy time to be alive.

Plan for living into your eighties. Exercise, have a healthy diet, have a healthy social life and follow your doctor's advice. The older you get the more important they become.

Crises have happened and will happen. It's life. Learn to deal with them.

Taleb had a nice quote for this -- something like, "Thanksgiving is a black swan for the turkey, but not for the farmer."
140, the world will be fine, and we're going to sink billions into fighting aging.
i hope it's more, until we conquer it. i think we can do it quickly. our bodies already know what to do.
I used to think this way also but no do not want to live forever. The finite nature of life makes it valuable.
Its really just good years that make life valuable and not having a completely shitty and depressing end is really my goal. Good years until I pass in my sleep
Life expectancy in my country is 81 for men and 85 for women, so i could expect to live into my 80s... except, AFAIK life expectancy is really just average age of people who died recently, and does't account for much else. Between an AGI extincting us all, WW3, and imminent longevity treatments I would say all bets are off.

I'm hopeful that we'll be able to cure and reverse ageing within a couple of decades. Just need to stay alive long enough to benefit from it. I want to stick around and see Moon and Mars colonies before I go.

I plan to live Forever. So far, so good.
Mid 70s. That is slightly higher than the average life expectancy of my country but I have access to greater medical facilities than the average Indian. However I expect any bad habits that I may develop to cut down on any potential increase from my access to healthcare.
120 if no major break throughs happen. 150-180 otherwise.

Ignoring fatal accidents.

The average life span of males in my family is 98. Heavily brought down by two accidents (38 & 17). No naturals deaths below 104. I guess genetics are in my favour.

I plan for 86 and using this a basis of my pension calculations
Shooting for 100. I try and do one or a few things daily to improve my chances (eating clean, exercise, invest in relationships, etc)
I'm optimisticly guessing at 48
I'll die when I die. I prefer not to think about it too early
(let's see how this will age)

I am very healthy for my age. People look at me and they tell me I look 12-15 years less. I am not strong but I am lean. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs, I eat 'well'(?). My blood tests are great, I 'move' a lot. I do squats and push-ups every day (irrespective of going to the gym)

I don't fear for my body, that thing will take me to 110. I fear that my mind will give out at around 80(?) and I will live 30 years pissing and shitting myself in some 'home'.

So I starting considering my 'exit plan' in case I start losing my marbles. I don't want to be a burden to anyone, and waste any wealth to a nurse wiping my butt. I prefer to give as inheritance and/or donate anything I got, and then call it a day/night/life.
