Whenever I hear references to Lexus I cannot but think of "Lexus man" which is an Alan Partridge witticism, played by Steve Coogan. The epitome of faux luxury, the kind which ordinary people can buy, and so definitionally its not very luxe.

I feel like Lexus styling is awful, but to be honest I’m not sure that a Century Gazoo Racing Meister of Nurburgring edition SUV is going to much better.
Those double headlights remind me of the family truckster.
All I want out of Toyota is one of their light pickups they're allowed to sell overseas but not in the US.
Why not cut to the chase and create cars only for billionaires? That seems to be the direction the business world is heading. If they lose customers they raise prices and cut quantity to maintain profits. Eventually they'll be selling nothing for billions to the one person left who owns everything.
