Who would eat red beans and rice with coffee? That's a horrible combination!
The Forbes site is horrendous: interstitial ad before article, broken up in 2 pages (unnecessarily of course with barely any words on pg.2), and linkbait presentation overpowering what little content there is.

That said, this combo of foods is very possible in an Asian diet. Coffee throughout the day during work. Rice for every meal. Red beans in your dessert.

A nice idea, but medical privacy laws would tend to make this difficult to do in practice.
More than just an idea, they've already done it.

I'd hope not, since antibiotics do nothing for viruses.

True, antibiotics are not useful for treating flu, but they do clear up related infections - crucial for the frail or elderly.
