Have you ever been in a position where you’ve had to try to convince a professional of something only to have them dismiss your concerns because it falls outside of some technical boundary? When it comes to medical, financial and legal domains it can be particularly exasperating to have your lived experience denied to your face, copping benign patronisation at best and the dismissive/angry claim that you are lying (with some suspicious ulterior motive) at worst.

I try to avoid those situations to begin with, but there is truly nothing worse than someone who uses their professional background as the basis for close minded-ness.

hahaha omg we finally got the origin story. This explains this dude's entire deal.

"a bunch of people tried to cancel me" = i said dumb stuff and people stopped being my friend.

And he kept saying dumb stuff, to this very day.
