Not sure why he didn't dare to mention Linear or GitHub codespaces in his tweet, but it totally backfired when it's Wope :)
not sure it backfired, just gave more eyes say'n "yea funny but like the dudes still right"
I'm not personally bothered by the criticism of 'this style of design' or copywriting; rather, I find it troubling that such a reaction is given to a project that many people have worked on for weeks. Moreover, despite the fact that the design was made almost 2 years ago, we were very upset that it was described as if it was a mere imitation of a style that has become popular. Otherwise, of course, we can respect everyone's opinion on any subject.
Thanks Gorkem! As founder of Wope, I hope this conversation grows and highlights how people won’t put up with toxic behavior. It's especially upsetting to see a famous designer and developer disrespected like this, even more so than in the case with Wope
wope's gigamind response was really good and fast but he can't answer. obviously, he may not like the page but the "joke" or "parody" it aint funny. honestly, afterwards I looked at their products and projects with speechlessness. this is just toxicity.

Nice user interface, i like it
It's clear that a tremendous amount of creativity and hard work has gone into the project. It's inspiring to see a team stand strong in the face of criticism and use it as an opportunity to spark a dialogue smart and funny way. I love it
