I can see it, my guess is that an algorithm at Meta Corporation does not like you.
I'm slightly surprised that I can read the threads website, from my static ip address Facebook has always showed "Log In or Create New Account" and not let me browse for years.
Apple/Mac/Jobs always had a "bicycle for the mind" mass market product vision.
Power users like most on HN can cope with the inadequacies of buggy software and OSes with a lot of maintenance/care required and care more for DIY / fixability while focussing more on performance per dollar.
He’s right that making an impressive widget at low cost is a difficult thing. But it’s not the only thing. Making a high quality widget is also a difficult thing.
