Tell HN: How to use an esim QR code when it arrives on iPhone

I needed to activate an esim QR code on my iPhone without a tablet or computer as the host screen. Then I noticed I could save a photo as a watch face on my Apple Watch - so made a screenshot of the QR code and saved it as a watch face. Then scanned it with the iPhone camera. It worked just fine. Thought I would share this hack.

Smart. I need to activate a new eSIM soon. I was going to print it if I needed to.

Force-touching on an image of a QR code that's already saved on my phone gives me an option to trigger "scanning" it without using the camera at all.
