Ask HN: Where to launch MVPs for free for testing?

1 points by MarkVenison ↗ HN
A book I am reading suggests: here, producthunt and reddit. But reddit is banning every post where I include a link, and producthunt doesn't seem to generate much traffic.

If you want to test an MVP for free, and have no following, what would you do?

It's interesting for me because I worked for 10 years in SEO, and my way to get traffic on a page was simply SEO, just optimize and get google to do the job.

Now I am trying something new and launching small projects and want to test if they would work, but it seems to me the normal strategy that people use is simply "try to go viral"?

If you want to test an MVP for free, and have no following, what would you do?

Don't you think indiehackers readers represent a very narrow demographic, interested in tech stuff, and are probably not interested in many other things?
