As you may know, current background removal services only provide low-resolution preview images. If you want a high-definition output, you have to pay.
So I've created a web tool called Rembgai. Just upload the original and preview photos, and it will generate a high-definition output for you. And the best part? It's completely free. Give it a spin!

Adobe Express does it for free, DepositPhotos does it for free too.
ELI5: why do I need to upload the preview? Is it for some reason impossible for you to downsize the high-res pic? Is there a manual step required of me to take after?
What am I missing here, why not have just a single high-res pic upload?
My tool doesn't directly help you in removing the background from images. It helps you obtain high-resolution, background-free images by uploading the original image and the preview image (the image with the background removed but with low-res) from PhotoRoom or other background removal services. ^^

Their pricing page says otherwise, unless it’s pricing for something else
