Well, this is how Science is done now, the political party decides what they want to happen, and their 'experts' deliver for them.
Their 'vax', masks, social distancing, denying the actual meds that work? Utter garbage. It is mostly embarrassing that the believers think these were done for their safety as opposed to a way to steal an election (And will deny it's happening in the upcoming election).
Not just "Science," reporting generally. the reports that people were trying to buy Maui property right after the fires was "Russian disinformation" for a couple days before they stopped trying to deny the reality of the story. The roadblocks there, likewise.
