The long-term solution would be a court precedent that entities in a value chain of bogus medical advice are liable for damages plus.
I’m surprised someone dying of cancer because they took the advice of cranks hasn’t sued the cranks on their way out and donated the proceeds to an anti-crank group. It’d be a service to humanity.

P.S. apparently King Charles’ personal physician is a homeopath. Guess Britain will get a new monarch soon.

I think people tend to blame themselves for not doing the crankery well enough, as opposed to turning on the cranks, even if it means their death. Sunk cost is a bitch.
First they came for the anti-vaxxers...

because they were causing unnecessary death and suffering.

Good work, White House and Amazon. You do plenty of crappy stuff but this is definitely on the other side of the ledger and making the world slightly better.

Deplatforming anti-vaxxers is part of the moral mandate of any citizens and businesses in a society.
Lazy half baked solution cuz misguided people will always exist. They don't evaporate from earth just because they aren't on one platform anymore. Trump is an example of getting deplatformed and still being able to waste everyone's time.

The platform algos signal Quality to the population with Likes/Views/Upvotes. But we all know what lands up on the front page thanks to such algos can be pure shit.
