Geo-strategic competitors must be very pleased that their social media disinfo campaigns are so effective.
As opposed to US disinfo campaigns being not very effective?

Methinks thee doth protest too much
Unintentionally funny. The USG has a long history of using disinformation to gain an edge that it should be okay to state that as a fact without evidence. Your reply is typical for modern opinion management. Harsh black-white reply. Demanding evidence. Insulting OP. If he replied with evidence, you would dismiss it as biased.

Disinfo posters calling out a genuine comment for disinfo? Welcome to election years in the 2020s

Do you really want evidence? What conflict should we discuss where the US has never used disinfo? Cold war, Vietnam, War on Terror, Covid?

Opening sentence is idiotic. It brings nothing to discuss the subject at hand.
Ah yes, because if women could tell what a good man was, you, personally, would be overwhelmed with propositions from the ladies.

Surely, it has nothing to do with any negative attributes of yourself — it is the women who have bad taste!

Honest question: do you think this opening line adds to the thesis of the article? It looks like a totally useless throw away line, a weird unrelated "zinger ".
It’s a flowery opening, but I’d argue it’s not too different than, say, opening with a Shakespeare quote or something.

I think certain commenters got weirdly angry about it because they interpreted it as some kind of feminist anti-male screed when it was just intended to be a throwaway.
