OT:

I needed a Windows program recently and installed Win in a VirtualBox. Just downloaded an ISO, it was not registered with a serial number.

Often, when working with the program, out of the blue, a screen with "News" appeared that I had to click away.

Question: Is This normal windows behavior? I mean, they can't be serious?

Yes, one should exercise good security practices for when you rm the Windows partition and install a real operating system
