Ask HN: Standard chatbot endpoints for websites? (ala RSS)
I run an enterprise software company, and it has been surprisingly easy to fine-tune a LLM to get a chatbot that encompasses all our public documents (our corporate website is ~1000 webpages).
It feels to me that the web would benefit from a "standardized" approach to expose an open chatbot, a bit in the spirit of what RSS did for blogs more than 2 decades ago. Those endpoints would come with the explicit intent of letting chatbots talk to each other.
Is there anybody working on such a protocol?
Ps1: my own chatbot is available at https://news.lokad.com/chat
Ps2: Yes, LLMs are still a little bit expensive to be made "fully open", but I see many ways to address this problem.
