OpenAI reportedly has Google in its sights with a new online search product (businessinsider.com)

Seems like this should be FP news, considering how the news has caused a nearly 3% hit to GOOG.

Brave has done some very minor experiments with user control of the algorithm that yielded pretty interesting results. One strength of OpenAI might be allowing users to approach search from a lot of different directions. Very interesting.
