Seeking OpenAPI Equivalent for Medication Data: Insights Needed

3 points by Nishan_nb ↗ HN
Hey hackers!

We're diving into the realm of medication management software and are on the lookout for an OpenAPI similar to what's available for banking data. Our goal is to streamline the integration process and provide a seamless experience for pharmacies and their customers.

But, here's the twist – we're also curious about the software distribution process specifically tailored for pharmacy tech. Our product aims to offer a universal medication log passbook, consolidating all past and present medication information into one convenient platform.

So, fellow tech enthusiasts and industry insiders, we're turning to you! How do you approach the integration of software products within pharmacy settings? What does the flow look like from both the pharmacy's and customer's perspectives? Can everyone share insights on how other startups integrate their software with pharmacy's system?

I believe the OP is referring to Open API, the API specification, not OpenAI, the hallucinating AI company.
I want that then, pharmaceutical exchanges standard are old, and convoluted But It will be hard to implemented across industry, maybe as alternative wrapper, and you parse the formats they send
