Actually, I do agree that Russia can eventually "win", just because it has a larger population. However, if Putin does so, it will be a Pyrrhic victory. He will have slaughtered a generation and be irrevocably indebted to China.
Musk would hand 40 million Ukrainians over to a dictator to live in a police state. Many of their best and brightest would be murdered by Putin once he took over. Who does he think he is to say that should be an acceptable outcome for Ukrainians? I respect Musk as a businessman and technologist, but he's a terribly naive politician.
I think Musk is smart enough to know how criminal and deceptive the US government is to their own people and follows the truth about things, and not your typical biased thinking that most Americans are already unknowingly programmed to think a particular way. I think Musk is about truth and freedom and anyone that can't see that is ignorant to the real truth about things. Not everyone is right all the time, definitely including myself, but if I were to place bets, my dollars and rubles would be on Musk any day of the week.
