The author does not seem to have noticed that autogenerated music, and movies, and stories, and artwork, have:
1) been here for a while
2) are pretty boring after not too long, for reasons that are a little hard to pin down, but unmistakably true even to non-technical people who can't spot that they are autogenerated
It seems plausible to me that there will be companies specialising in generating films within certain genres. I'm sure an action or horror film would be easier to pull off than a drama or a comedy, for instance.
Horror in particular seems doable, because it could easily be much more forgiving of weird surreal effects etc.
