SoraApp currently got 7,500 on the wait list and will close the batch1 waitlist when it reaches 20,000
Nothing on this website says that they are openAI or are affiliated with them... Is this just some third party attempting to harvest a whole bunch of email addresses?
No one other than the OpenAI team has access to Sora.

Now this is what I call a scam and a grift.

We didn't say that we are affiliated with OpenAI. In our FAQ, we've described SoraApp.Art as an innovative platform leveraging OpenAI's Sora model to convert text descriptions into dynamic, high-quality videos.

We anticipate that OpenAI will eventually make their Sora API available to the public, and we're betting on that possibility. However, we view OpenAI's Sora API as akin to chat completion, with numerous add-ons that we can integrate. For instance:

1. Implementing captions and video voiceovers atop the generated videos to streamline the movie generation process.

2. Incorporating features for transferring to 3D models.

3. Developing a built-in tool to assist users in generating more precise prompts and exerting finer control over the video elements.

In essence, our current product development is predicated on the assumption that we will gain access to an API from OpenAI's Sora in the future.

So just promises completely based on one assumption?

Why announce this? You have nothing aside from an idea that completely depends on having access to another company's product... Not a given you'll get it, this is not even in the hot air phase.
