Immediately stopped bothering to read any further

The first describes the chaining up instructions, the second describes chaining up instructions. I don't see the difference too what a real programming language do in that term, compared to a scripting language.

What is a real programming language? I asked my father, he said nothing more pure as ASM - all the other things has been invented because the people needed scripting languages.

So I stopped too right after the sentence :)
