Ask HN: Sites for tech conferences in Bay Area?

I'm not in the habit of attending tech conferences, but I'm wondering if anyone here can recommend a good tech conference aggregator site?

Also, what's your opinion (in general) of attending tech conferences? Are there any I should avoid / definitely check out?
