Open source and login for Warp, the collaborative terminal (warp.dev)

I'm curious if apps like warp can be profitable?

I also want to work on dev tools, but people keep saying that dev tools are not a good startup ideas, as devs don't want to pay for tools and soon there will be open sourced replacement.
