Sad that this didn't generate any discussion! I found this on Lobsters the other day and thought it was brilliant.
It seems to me like their highly demanding domain pressures them towards needing an organisational style. I sometimes wish I worked in that kind of demanding environment.
It reminds me of Hamming's description of style in The Art of Doing Science and Engineering.
