Reaction I: "Mystery" only if you live in some distant bubble, conveniently insulated from grim worldly realities. Perhaps with a comforting ideology, which explains why the less-fortunate deserve to suffer.

Since I can't read TFA due to the paywall, perhaps you could explain:

(a) what the "mystery" may be be, and

(b) why there should be rural rage, let alone white rural rage?
