I will be that guy again, pointing out the the majority of gang activity is not performed by natives.
Whatever the reason might be (priviledged Dutch, reaping the benefits of heinous collonialist practices or influx of people with different cultural values), this is something that must be addressed if the problem is to be solved. Integration proved to be much much harder than idealists in Europe imagined, and we are losing societal order in the process.
The worst thing is, this can lead to further draconian and authoritarian policies by governments without actually addressing the problem.
If anybody has ran into any feasible solutions, I would be interested to read about them.
This is a news article about my stalking case against the neighbor I mentioned above. I took 5 years to get the case to court, only after complaining to the national ombudsman.
It took 13 years to get anything at all to court. My stalking case would have been the largest ever to be submitted in the Netherlands with more than 600 videos of evidence. The prosecutor would not present this evidence to court and told the judges I was going to be convicted and that it was a neighbor convict involving seriously anti social neighbors.
The public prosecutor's office tied my stalking case to the other neighbor that in 2005 was convicted of a drug offence. For more than 10 years of stalking he only asked for 20 hours provisional community service. Then it turned out that the prosecutor was formally the head of the RIEC, the organisation that co-ordinates investigations into organised crime, he was pretending to convict his own asset so he could make the case fail. Which it did. Then he retired.
It gets worse. After that court case failed I investigate why would a prosecutor want to make a criminal case fail. Usually they are cheating to make cases succeed. In the beginning, we knew that left neighbor was involved in the case but we had long ago put it out of our heads that he was still involved with the justice department. Because anything else would be unthinkable, morally unjustifyable and pointless. And yet it was the case.
What happens if you involve a civilian in illegal activity that civilian can now black mail you. They have you by the balls. If they tried to prosecute him all he would have to do is talk and they all loose their jobs.
Anyway, the first thing I would out was that the prosecutor had lied before, in 2013 (Sorry all paywalled):
I thought that was bad enough but when I contacted the NRC Handelsblad they said it was not important because the prosecutor had retired. Huh ????? It turned out that 7 prosecutors had deserted that prosecutors office that year:
I didn't think too much till I noticed another article about another prosecutor that left that year as well. But this time the date was mentioned. He left the office due to an argument with the head prosecutor. I worked out that this argument must have transpired within the 2-3 weeks after the verdict on my case came out:
What was noticable was that this prosecutor was also found guilty of lying back in 2013 together with the other guy. And noticably this prosecutor was a high ranking criminal intelligence officer. WTF. I figured that this cannot be a co-incidence. Both together lying in 2013 and both leaving the office at the same time. So I dug deeper. Then I discovered that the prosecutor that was supposed to my prosecuting my guy for stalking was formally the head of the RIEC. Which stands for Regional Expertise and Information Center. Which is a new Dutch intelligence agency formed in 2008 to co-ordinate with the council, the police, the tax department and a bunch of other parnters to investigate and interfere with (Interventions) organised crime. Any investigation involving weed, such as with the other neighbor in 2005 would have to involved this agency. Any involvement of a civilian had to be signed off by the guy that was failing to prosecute my harrasser. There was a serious conflict of interest that this prosecutor was the one chosen to be prosecuting my harrasser and to involve the other neighbor who in 2005 was growing weed and lumping it all together saying it was all one case was prejudicial framing of my case, making it look like I'm involved in organised crime.
But it gets worse. in 2015 we had a meeting with the responsible prosecutor in charge of my stalking case. We asked in 2014 but were told we had to try mediation first. Mediation with their own informant that said absolutely nothing during the mediation. Then again, one year later, we had this meeting with her. And another meeting a little later as she left the role of prosecutor and became a judge.
But it gets worse. In 2020, I was googling this prosecutors name...

But it gets worse. In 2020, I was googling this prosecutors name, as you do and I saw people saying, that's incredible and now's she's becoming the president of the court of Maastricht. I was shocked, because the prosecutor they were talking about is the one we had two meetings about my stalking case about. They were talking about the documentary series called "De Villamoord". And at the end of every episode of this series they said this prosecutor's name and that she refused to answer any of the questions from the documentary makers. This was a documentary about 9 innocent people sent to jail on fabricated evidence.
Time to dig deeper. I found out that the reason her name was mentioned was because she was the head of the organised crime unit in Arnheim at the time these people were framed. Until 2010 when she became the head of the organised crime unit in Maastricht, the province that I live in. The same year that the police stopped responding to my calls anymore. The chief of police told me that the prosecutor had said that they were not allowed to respond to any calls anymore and were were not allowed to investigate anything. Later they police refused to allow me to file any police reports.
Later this same prosecutor tried to frame me. We were told that there were police reports against everyone. They are treating the weed grower from earlier as part of the same as the hapless suckers that moved to live between the two one year earlier. I was interrogated for 4 1/2 hours, the last hour focused on trying to get me to confess assaulting the guy, something I didn't do. That's bizarre, I'm 5' 5 1/2 inches and weak, he's over 6' and strong. My harrassing neighbor went to the interrogation and was back home within 1 1/2 hours. The other neighbor that was caught growing week in 2005 was interrogated for 5 1/2 hours.
I filed criminal charges against the prosecutor and it was dismissed, in the letter that came back they said there was no conflict of interest because the RIEC were investigating my neighbor from 2005-2011 and he became the head of the RIEC in 2013. Well... before he became the head of the RIEC he was the recherche officier van justitie, a role that is effectively as good as the head of the RIEC and he had that role from the start of the RIEC, which was in 2008, whic...
I think integration was never really tried. Booklets aren't enough. There has to be some forced distribution of immigrants so that ghettos can't form. Compulsory language and vocation training etc should all have been part of an integration policy.
Sweden had 20 years to get it right and they did nothing.
Western European countries do careful planning of which municipalities get how many of which migrants - it just turns out that people tend to move where their family and friends from their home countries are. This is how ghettoization actually happens at scale, same story with Czechs and Poles in the US back in the day.
You can't mandate that i.e. a Moroccan family cannot live within a mile of another, that would be crazy.
Dutch Police has been trying to sound that alarm now for years (ondermijnende criminaliteit), but nobody listens. I regularly read about incidents in foreign media that got no coverage locally. My municipality is running awareness campaigns for youths (they are favoured runners, we're close to a border) and it is a public secret that many businesses that flooded in 2021 had (and taken) offers from people in that circuit because governmental support has been so slow to materialize.
I've read messaging from Italian persecution officials raising their concern for the utter lack of addressing the issue in NL.
Scare mongering to gain hundreds of millions of euros to use in a way that violates democracy. The undermining of Dutch society was done by the Dutch government themselves.
For example, did you know that a Dutch prosecutor can lie in court under oath with no consequences? I have a letter from the attorney general of the Den Bosch office that states this in black and white. They cannot be found guilty of perjury.
Why do I have such a letter from the attorny general? Because I tried to prosecute the prosecutor for obstruction of justice all the way to the attorny general's office. That letter was their only response.
Please sir can you then explain to me where in the law does it say that it’s okay to use a civilian harrass, steal from, attack another civilian simply because he inconveniently lived next door to the target of an illegal intervention?
The prosecutor that I’m talking about was the former head of the RIEC. The very organisation that embodies the entirely of this war against undermining that you are talking about. The civilian that I managed to force to court for stalking had been protected by this prosecutor for more than 10 years!!!!!!!!
Which part exactly am I’m seeing out of perspective ?
I’ve read a lot of criminal law! A civilian is not allowed to be used in an investigation that involves obsessive spying (stelselmatig observatie). For more than one year at a time, they need a contract in advance and they are not allowed to commit any crimes. So why are the openbare ministerie protecting this guy and publishing lies about me more than 10 years later????
I took the police to court and won. That also took me 5 years. I’ve seen the evidence that this guys was being protected by the OM. And that our lives were in danger from him. I have the reference numbers from the police files.
You seem to have a vested interest in all this, are you going to tell the listeners who the responsible prosecutor was for the villa murder scandal ? How about telling them what position this person has now ? The person responsible for the injustice referred to in the series de Villamoord was also one of the prosecutors responsible for the living hell that was inflicted on me and my family when we were accidentally caught between their stupid games that destroy peoples lives.
Are you also one of the people think that it’s okay to commit criminality against innocent civilians and strip them of their rights as well ?
No, I'm saying that the government is failing to correctly address this crime. You seem to be arguing that the problem doesn't exist, because they mishandle things.
No that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that they have used this problem as a power grab and the power grab has destroyed the foundation of a democracy. That's not worth it.
It's not worth it because it's not necessary. You are turning the country into the same sort of place that Navalny lived in.
It not necessary to allow prosecutors to pervert the course of justice and lie under oath whenever they want, because then a court is meaningly.
It's not necessary because a functioning democracy should be able to weather being found wrong and should be accountable. They have become completely unaccountable.
And it's unnecessary because what value is there to harrass someone and their neighbor's after they have already been convicted and punished?
10 years long harrassing, stealing from, tampering with the cars from the neighbor of someone convicted of growing weed can hardly be described as mis-handling things. That's very very severe.
Frankly, if I'm honest, I wouldn't care why the Dutch criminal justice system did to fight crime so long as they obeyed the law, made things evidence based and left innocent people alone.
But because the Dutch government facilitated and protected more than 10 years of criminality against me I now have this very strong view that what the Dutch government are doing is very wrong. They have in fact become just like the organized criminals that they are supposed to be fighting. They are in fact organized criminals themselves. And it's not just criminals that become the victim of this. What happened to me would have happened to any other citizen that was living in the same location when it happened as I was.
And the offenders in the government committing these crimes keep committing them. The prosecutor in my case was found guilty of lying in court in 2013. He rose to become the head of the RIEC, the symbol agency of the fight against organised crime. The prosecutor that was responsible for the conviction on 9 innocent people on fabricated evidence in "De Villamoord" was the head of the organised crime unit in Arnheim till 2010 whe she became the head of the organised crime unit in Maastricht and then later the head of team interventions. I know, because I had two meetings with this woman. But it was not till have the massive obstruction of justice when the informant gone wrong appeared as the suspect in my stalking case that I found out exactly what had happened and how the govt. itself was responsible for the 10 year horror story that happened to me!!!!!!!!!
Are you some of the people that think that that sort of collateral damage is okay?
No, I'm saying that the government is failing to correctly address this crime. You seem to be arguing that the problem doesn't exist, because they mishandle things.
> "They assume if you are kind to drug peddlers, you build a better society. If you enter Singapore with kilos of drugs, it will destroy thousands of families. When the daughter or son, becomes an addict, you are killing that family every day for years and years. Against thousands of such deaths, one death (of the drug trafficker) is too kind."
The western approach to drugs shows he's correct. South Korea and Japan also don't have a drug problem, because they have strict laws and enforce them.
I'm not convinced it's entirely down to laws though. India's drug laws are not very strict and enforcement is capricious. There's still no drug problem.
> There is widespread alcohol and cannabis abuse in India.
What makes you say that? Being here in India, I don't really see this.
> Fancier drugs do not make their way there because there are more profitable markets.
India is one of the largest manufacturers of pharmaceuticals in the world. If there was demand for street drugs, domestic manufacturing could easily supply the market.
I would assume that the average Indian that visits a major high end western tech aggregator has a skewed sample of India's population.
> India is one of the largest manufacturers of pharmaceuticals in the world.
Adjusted per capita, or in absolute terms ? Also don't forget the vast land required for precursors in the case of fancy drugs, which would require a paradigm shift.
I'm sorry, did you actually read beyond the headlines?
> Over 30 million individuals use cannabis products and about 2.5 million suffer from cannabis dependence
> Applying estimates of prevalence to population figures, the survey estimated that in India, whose population is just over a billion, 62.5 million people use alcohol, 8.75 million use cannabis, two million use opiates, and 0.6 million use sedatives or hypnotics.
In what universe does this constitute widespread drug abuse?
Yeah I agree it's not entirely laws. Western countries (in their public cultures) treat money as the supreme good in life, so predictably almost everyone is miserable. Many people hide from their misery by checking out. So there's certainly more to it than laws.
This absolutely has happened in Asian countries, even ones which hand out death sentences for drugs.
Duterte who is most famous for causing the extra-judicial murder of thousands for alleged links to the drugs trade is himself connected to drug smuggling operations.
Indonesia is a hub for global drug smuggling operations.
A huge amount of Singapore organised crime routes through Indonesia where corruption is more rampant.
There are other elements to this "Netherlands becoming a narco state" which are not being talked about. Specifically, the manner in which organised crime is being investigated. Which is it's not just being investigated, they also carry out what they call interventions.
I was unlucky enough to live directly between a person that was arrested and convicted for growing weed in his house in 2005 and the civilian that the investigators were using to both spy on and "intervene" on (harrassment basically) in an illegal manner. This continued for the next 10 years!! And the government were protecting him. This is simply government facilitated harrassment of innocent civilians caught up the collateral damage. And then they blame it on the victim.
How these people can sleep at night when they pull together the resources of the council, the police and the OM to strip the innocent people who are colateral damage of their illegal activities of their rights for absolutely no purpose at all astounds me.
The the word "undermining" is simply the equivalent to the word "terrorism" it's being used as a power grab to make new laws to bypass democracy. The investigators in this country and the ones undermining the democratic state of law. (Except there is no longer a functioning democratic state of law in the Netherlands).
Why should they investigate? Its literally impossible to be jailed in the Netherlands. You dig a tunnel into the prison and they will kick you out the next day....
This answer is the problem. You are advocating locking up and harassing who ever you feel like. No evidence or guilt necessary. You think that’s better? You would love it in Russia. Haven’t we just seen recently an example of someone dying in jail from the same sort of attitude?
You are also making a deadly assumption that these people only do these things to bad people. Answer whether you think it would be fine to harrass you for ten years if you were unlucky enough to have moved next to someone that got convicted of growing weed. 13 years later, after the prosecutor lied to the court he couldn’t name one thing that we ever did to that neighbour.
When I pressing for him to name one thing I ever did he responded:
“Even if you complain. What did you hope to achieve by complaining?”

Duterte who is most famous for causing the extra-judicial murder of thousands for alleged links to the drugs trade is himself connected to drug smuggling operations.
Indonesia is a hub for global drug smuggling operations.
A huge amount of Singapore organised crime routes through Indonesia where corruption is more rampant.

There are only 8 now. One of them, a young person, committed suicide in jail.
