Thank you, February, for giving me some lessons about the working world
Lesson 1:
In certain companies, loyalty is more important than performance. So, it's okay to perform poorly as long as you're loyal.
Lesson 2: The definition of loyalty varies from company to company. For some, it means being willing to work overtime every day without pay and doing things outside of your job description.
Lesson 3: Loyalty also needs to be visible. If you do things outside of your job description but your boss doesn't know, it's pointless.
Lesson 4: Being too vocal in criticizing your boss is not good. It's better to just say "yes, sir! yes, sir!".
Lesson 5: Don't be too naive in the workplace; almost everyone there is two-faced.
