The point I got is to be more intentional about being distracted, and to use a phone or a computer as a tool instead of an attention crutch. By reducing the phone's ability to easily distract you, one can improve their quality of life. That's for all of us, not just celebrities.
Could you go without your phone? Justin Bieber says he doesn't have a phone just a tablet, and he wakes up in the morning and uses the tablet to communicate with his management. Could you do that? I couldn't. I need my phone because work, and everyone else needs to get a hold of me. If I were wealthy, then I might have a team of people to do this for me. Therefore, I wouldn't need to carry a phone with me everywhere.
