[–] nfriedly 2y ago ↗ This is yet another thing that reinforces my opinion that DisplayPort is superior to HDMI. [–] stop50 2y ago ↗ It is simply superior. Its cheaper to implement and license and cables are mostly futureproof. [–] Our_Benefactors 2y ago ↗ Now if only monitor manufacturers would realize that I WANT MULTIPLE DISPLAYPORT INPUTS ON A SINGLE MONITOR! Finding monitors with multiple HDMI inputs is easy, while finding one with multiple DisplayPort is nearly impossible. [–] nfriedly 2y ago ↗ 100% agree. I think nvidia using an outdated DP version on their latest GPUs has only made this worse. One thing I've found is that sometimes displays will have USB-C & DisplayPort, which is effectively two DP inputs.
