I guess we're all right wing now. Why is Bloomberg running cover for Google? It wasn't just that white historical figures were not white, but even requesting them to be white was rejected as problematic.
The fact that someone at Google couldn't understand how utterly useless their product would be is unreal.

I do think it was politics / culture war, at least, I permitted myself to think that after I got social permission from right wing AI people who were similarly disgusted by the conversation[^2] and shocked at how puerile and detached from reality it was, compared to what is actually going on, known as early as GPT-2.
