Four One Five Numbers Calling and Hanging Up

Every day now I get multiple calls from 415 numbers that call and then just hang up.

I usually try to block them, but now have resorted to answering some one of them and just start cussing at them, assuming that they're all robocalls now.

Which is weird, because I have a 415 number myself.

Fuck off, 415.

Calling from the same area code of your own number is a known spammer tactic. You answered, now you're marked as "real person" in their db

I don't usually answer it.... usually, my voicemail answers it. I wonder if that qualifies as an answer as well.

Probably as a third option - "not a dead number. try again tomorrow!"
